NGC 6888, the
crescent, another try

Moving in on it, needs now
a series to get the O2 layer.... one hour, 12 x 300 seconds at
f5.8 . Buried in the Milky Way, the
background is a rippled cloud of slightly excited hydrogen, brownish,
like around the Orion complex.
I have no detail in it yet, but perhaps longer subs will do it...

Pro, 80mm antique Meade refractor
acquired, calibrated, stacked and processed with darks and flats
in Nebulosity,
post processing (saturation, contrast) in Photoshop CS3, no sharpening
or noise reduction.
