NGC 4631 - the Whale or herring galaxy

NGC 4631, the whale... 21 x 300 seconds for a total of 105 minutes over two nights. First light with Alan Gee compressor on Meade 12 inch. Seeing 5/10, sky 6/10

the sky was so rough I had to turn off dec guiding which reslulted in noise streaking after stacking. Cropped a bit due to sloppy recentering.

Frames acquired, calibrated, stacked, and pre-processed with Nebulosity, post processed with Photoshop CS3
guiding for all was with the piggybacked Meade 80mm and DSI Pro using PHD.
