NGC 253, the silver dollar galaxy

NGC 253 is one of my favorites, located in the constellation Scuptor and part of the Scuptor group of galaxies. It has such a
vast assortment of details from the blue hot stars to the H alpha active regions. This image is a stack of 6x600 seconds and
33x300 seconds for a total exposure of 3-3/4 hours at iso 1600 using the 12-inch Meade classic at f5.9, Canon 350d with Hap's Mod,

Frames acquired and stacked with Nebulosity, post processed with Photoshop CS3
guiding for all was with the piggybacked Meade 80mm and DSI Pro using PHD.
