M 16 and the
Eagle Nebula in Serpens Cauda

almost hidden by the mass
of milky way stars, this large mass of ionized hydrogen exited
by the active stars in the M-16 star cluster near center...
the nebulosity itself is part of a huge H II complex in this part
of the milky way cataloged as ic4703.
29 ten minute sub-exposures,
iso 1600, with my Canon 350dG on the Vixen ED80 at f7.5
acquired, calibrated, and stacked in Nebulosity 2.1.3, post processed
with Photoshop CS3.
Guided with the DSI pro
I, PHD, and shoestring GPUSB through my Meade LX200 classic 12
inch at f3.3.
